SUTHEE BENJAPHOKEE

I am Suthee Benjaphokee from Bangkok, Thailand. It was in 2006 when I entered the International program of frontier biotechnology of Osaka University. Now, I become a doctor course student. I have been researching on molecular mechanism of thermotolerance Saccharomyces cerevisiae in Harashima Laboratory. Department of Biotechnology, Osaka University is the place that lignted me up to the new level.

Through practical and theoretical assignments, I have learnt about the broad range of disciplines in which a Biotechnology can be employed.

At Osaka University, there are diversity of international students all around the world. I met many friends and learned about their custom and culture. In my own opinion, studying abroad educates me both experience and wisdom. I may have not got all these fortunate chances if I were studying in my country. I am really lucky to study in Osaka, Japan, the city that contains one of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
