OU JIANHONG

Thanks to Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship, which make it possible for me to come to Japan to pursuit of my Ph.D. degree after graduation from Wuhan University, P.R.China. Now I am a D3 student of Shimizu Lab. My major is Biotechnology. I am focusing on the stochastic gene expression involved in metabolic pathway in Escherichia coli. Study the stochastic gene expression can help us to understand the world of genes with low copy but high noise.

After four years study in Japan, I almost forgot the reason why I choose Osaka University for PhD study. Maybe the amazing culture, maybe the high-tech, maybe the scholarship … Anyway, I am here, and being satisfied with my research and daily life.

About Japan, what I want to say is wow, wonderful! I like to record my life by pictures and you can see the colorful Osaka by visiting my blog: http://onlno.spaces.live.com.
