Joining the Master's and Doctor's “Frontier Biotechnology” course at Osaka University has been one of the best decisions of my life. I not only enjoy the time here because of the studies that I am going through, the people that became friends here and the fantastic culture that I am able to experience, but also because the time here definitely open my eyes and broaden my mind to the real world.
It's me. >>>Juthaporn Sangwallek. After graduated from Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand, I intended to pursue my further education here under the supervision of Prof. Harashima in Molecular Genetics lab. When I initially arrived here, I found an excellent academic community here with warm and welcoming-atmosphere not only when attending the lecture classes, but also when doing research in lab. All my Sensei, tutor, lab members and classmates are always approachable and provide me the invaluable assistance both academically as well as personally. At present, I have practiced all techniques that are necessary to support my further research theme with a research group that is conducting in the elucidation of Molecular Mechanism Responsible for Determining Upper Limit of Thermotolerance in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. For a wonderful learning and life experience, I would like to say Thank you very much to Harashima sensei, Kaneko sensei, Sugiyama sensei, Wagazono san: my tutor and all my lab members and classmates.
