HOSEIN SHAHSAVARANI

My name is Hosein Shahsavarani. I come from Tehran-Iran, am 27 years old and now studying in PhD course of Biotechnology in Osaka University, Japan. I am graduated from Mazandaran University, Iran in Animal Genetics and now I research about molecular mechanism of thermotolerance in Saccharomyces Cervisiae at laboratory of Molecular Genetics(Harashima lab) as a doctor student. In this time I stay about 1 year in Japan with my family. My wife, Atefeh, also is student of Osaka University in international program of Frontier Biotechnology.

I think our laboratory is good equipped and academic situation and projects can categorize in high rank, so I can learn many things here. Also I and my family can learn new language. For instance my son, Arian, now can speak Japanese and communicate very well with his friends in the kindergarten.

Also I have to mention Japanese is very kind and helped me in many positions. Fresh air and beautiful natures of Osaka is another benefit of living here for me but its jam traffic is the problem that remembers my city.

I enjoy traditional Japanese festivals named Matsuri and their attention to preserve their culture. Also I feel this country is one of the safe ones in the world that is so important for foreign student.

Their view to life and hard working is so interesting for me. I learned many hint when I saw some old man's worked at their final decades. I think it is one of the important factors of improving this country. Working hard as a team and repeat to reach the goal in spite of any defeat is one of big lessons I learned here.
