The Division of Advanced Science and Biotechnology consists of Department of Material and Life Science (8 laboratories) and Department of Biotechnology (7 laboratories and 5 cooperative area).
      This division provides a wide spectrum of advanced research and educational opportunities in newly developing interdisciplinary research fields encompassing biology, chemistry, and physics to solve the most important global problems concerning energy resources and sustainable environments.
