We will have a luncheon seminar by Associate Prof. Hideki Sugimoto on June 1, 2009.
The seminar will start at 12:10 in a meeting room (# 303) on 3F of the GSE Common Middle (U1M) building (Kanri-toh).
Title and abstract of his lecture are shown below.

• Topic: Biomimetic Chemistry to Understand Roles of Mo and W Enzyme Reaction Centers
• Summary: Recent characterization of molybdenum and tungsten enzymes revealed novel structural types of reaction centers, as well as providing new subjects of interest as synthetic analogues. This talk highlights the structure/reactivity relationships of the synthetic analogues and describes their perspective.
